Graphic Design
Exhibition and wayfinding graphics for Space Store, an experiential space-themed retail venue in Oxford's Covered Market: VR experiences, real meteorites and space merchandise. Built to read clearly from right across the shop floor.
01
A shop that’s also an exhibition.
VR experiences, real meteorites and space merchandise, all in one unit. Every wall had to earn its space and read clearly from a few metres away.
02
One story, told across the shop floor.

The experience wall
The experience wall, marking the way into the Experience Zone. Floor to ceiling, lettered to read clearly from right across the shop floor.

The story
Where the story starts: the meteor strike that ended the age of the dinosaurs.

The trail
Left and right dinosaur prints, produced as 200mm floor stickers laid as a trail that leads visitors to the Survivors panel.

The story
What came next. A search-and-find: spot the animals that outlived the meteor and are still around today.

Wayfinding
Zone signage. Big, simple letterforms that read from across the shop, set against the same starfield as the rest of the space.
The shop was overdue a refresh. Our old graphics were tired and falling apart, so Ross redesigned everything, from the experience wall to the interactive dinosaur area. We’re so pleased with the results and our customers love it too.
